The Story of the Life and
Travels of Jeanette and Ken Coutts.
We have been blessed to travel the world through many cruises and tours, staying in remarkable places and using our timeshares with Hilton and Spinnaker in luxury accommodations throughout the world.
We have recoded our earlier travels through kmjacoutts.com and this web page and blog updates our travels from late 2024 .
We hope you enjoy the remarkable places and activities which we record.
We have made many wonderful friends on these holidays and cruises and we maintain regular contact.
Travel both on land and through Cruises has become a significant part of our lifestyle over the last 15-20 years. This is a new webpage which reflects the ongoing holiday ventures following the significant changes cto our lives over this last 9 months.
This new website represents the travels which we have undertaken from late 2025 . It attempts to summarise our actions and activities.
Ken has experienced significant Health challenges over the last 8 months having been diagnosed with aggressive Prostate Cancer that has escaped the prostate and was in the bones of the vertebrae and pelvic area.
He has had many Radiotherapy treatments with excellent results and is now being treated with immunotherapy involving injections in the stomach each 3 months and daily tablets.
We are delighted that he has been cleared to resume his life’s with a regular overview by b his two specialists.
This is our first overseas trip of 2025 and the first since his diagnosis.
Throughout this process we have received wonderful support from our may friends both locally and internationally.
We are indeed blessed.
“We are not gifted artists or webpage engineers or designers, but we seek to record our travels as a reflection of what we see and do together.
Whatever it is, the way we tell our story online can make all the difference.”
This whole approach to our travels and home life and the many friendships gives us both joy and excitement to continue the challenges as we progress through the more senior years. We are unable to do many of the tings we did previously, step climbs and difficult walks over challenging terrain are now behind us.
We must calibrate the physical activities associated with our holidays and flights over the still enthusiastic mental images which our mind creates.
The simple facts are as we commence holidays and life in late 2025 that what was simple and achievable is no longer. We are blessed to enjoy reasonable general health ( following Ken’s recent cancer challenges) , but that only accentuates the planning processes requires to enable timely and deliberate assessment of cruises, the planning of flights and the best use of our memberships and professional support.
